I had previously given a mediocre rating because the food was very salty and the steak in the middle was cold. However, I was there again recently and was very pleasantly surprised. The soup tasted wonderful and was lovingly and nicely presented. The schnitzel was a bit tough at times, but in my opinion it wasn't the cook's fault. It was knocked enough :) The fried potatoes were my highlight and absolutely delicious. Gladly again. (This time the steak was perfect too, warm inside and still pink and juicy.) Last time I was just unlucky, or the cook had a bad day. I will gladly come again :)

I was here for a really great wedding. I have to say, it was a very tasty meal - just a little too much pepper or too much sugar. But otherwise just great. I'm excited. The service did a great job. Hats off. And there are the smallest beer glasses I have ever seen 😅 cute, just cute

We ordered four of them according to the menu. All four meals were excellently prepared and tasted excellent. Our service was always on hand without being pushy. A cozy and successful evening.

We have known the restaurant for over 20 years, live in the neighboring town and always like to come here when it comes to dining out or even holding a celebration here. For celebrations, you sit down with the owner beforehand and design the menu and decorations together, whereby you can draw on the many years of experience of the boss. We always liked it very much and the price / performance ratio is okay. Since this is a training company, a mistake can sometimes be made. We will be back !

Very nice hotel with great restaurant. The airport can be reached in a good 10 minutes. Shops are nearby. Rooms are well equipped with minibars. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is big enough. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Great price / performance ratio. Parking is free on site. I would like to come again ...

A cozy hotel with practical rooms and solid basic amenities. The bathroom could be a bit modern but still very clean. The breakfast is rich and is served directly at the table. The arrival at night was easily arranged by telephone. Staff is always friendly and very helpful, great service

My parents celebrated their small weddings here 20 years ago. So we wanted to get an impression for our own wedding too. After Ms. Wilcke took almost two hours for us during the very first conversation, although we didn't yet know where we were going to celebrate, it was clear: that's it. You feel absolutely in good hands, get a lot of tips and support with everything related, based on years of experience. The Wilcke couple are very, very friendly and accommodating! The location is beautiful, if a little out of the way. But there is a good taxi company on site, some hotel rooms and a great, very rich breakfast. A very nice thing to end the wedding with a few guests the next morning. The food was very good and more than plentiful. The Wilcke family also does little to make minor individual adjustments and you can tell that it's not about every euro. It's very pleasant. There were also nice conversations and a wine or two at the sample dinner. The house's pine white wine is HIGHLY recommended! All in all, we are extremely satisfied with our choice and will look back on this wonderful day with great pleasure. The Waldhaus also contributed a great deal to this!

We chose the Waldhaus for our wedding. A great choice! The service was wonderful during the planning as well as in the evening itself! Both we and our guests were very happy about the courteous service. In particular, the owners have come to meet us in the preparation and have all our wishes implemented. We would recommend the Waldhaus to everyone!

Have paid twice for overnight and dinner, first in cash when we left the hotel in the morning after our overnight stay, then via credit card five days later (wrote the card number because the internet connection did not work). Refuses to respond to this by mail. Incredibly frivolous !! Can NOT be recommended.

We were spontaneous with four adults and four children (between three and five years) eating. The restaurant is very well maintained, the environment was very nice (her directed), the price was reasonable and the food was delicious! The best was the pronounced friendliness towards our children! The playground leaves nothing to be desired! If we are close again we will be back!

The food was very tasty (fresh chanterelles dishes). The service was very friendly and fast. The tables were very nicely set and equipped with fresh floral arrangements. Everything was very clean and tidy. Due to the proximity to agriculture, we unfortunately could not sit on the terrace, as it smelled of manure and there were many flies circling around the tables. So we preferred to sit in the restaurant. In January 2018 we were back here. The food was very good (salmon fillet on Mediterranean vegetables). At the cleanliness there is nothing to complain about. The service employee was very friendly. However, it was very cold in the restaurant. Is there perhaps saved on the heating costs?

This was a beautiful spot to spend a few nights if you would like a quiet get-away. The old Water Mill is made into a beautiful hotel lodge. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly. Worth experiencing if you want a little bit of peace and quiet.
